Luis Polanco Unveils Adobe's Cross-OS Runtime – Codename: "Apollo"
Adobe's next-generation client, codenamed 'Apollo,' will extend the reach and capabilities of today's rich Internet applications (RIAs), freeing them to run outside the browser, on desktops. Luis Polanco, product manager for Apollo told the audience at 'Real-World Flex' in New York City today. There will be a developer release available via Adobe Labs 'by the end of the year,' Polanco announced.
